This collaborative project between the University of Sharjah’s College of Communication and the Sharjah International Foundation for the History of Muslim and Arab Sciences (SIFHAMS) in partnership with the UNESCO Chair on Science Diplomacy and Scientific Heritage at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) delves into how scientific discoveries, historical innovations, and technological advancements shape tourism industries worldwide. Students will gain insights into the role of scientific heritage in fostering cultural understanding, preserving scientific landmarks, and promoting sustainable tourism practices. The course will feature diverse perspectives from both institutions, offering a unique comparative study of how scientific heritage is valued and promoted in different regions. This course will consist of a summary of each module and a short quiz. You must earn 60% or higher to earn your certificate (when applicable).
